Stewie came to HHHA at 13 years old in rough shape: he was skinny, missing fur, nearly completely blind, and had bad teeth. Our fantastic vet team helped him get back into peak shape for his age, and he was scooped up by a prior HHH adopter who had a soft spot for super seniors. It was love at first sight, and the rest is history! They are all happy, and Stewie even gets along with his kitten brother, also adopted from HHH! His adopter says, “Small but mighty, Stewie is an inspiration! His razor-sharp navigating skills are a wonder, only occasionally bumping into an unwitting kitty! He’s still working on training me, however, in all the indulgences he seems accustomed to.” Thank you for giving this sweet senior dog a great home to live out his golden years!
