A wild little blonde pup named Siggy arrived to HHHA in late August. She was hard to handle with energy that could not be contained! The adoption facilitators knew she needed some obedience work. One of our volunteer trainers, Janet, jumped in to action. Siggy was a good student and learned quickly. This brings us to our second volunteer in action, Barbara, she was headed up to Virginia to visit the rescue she used to work with. They had space for a dog! Siggy was selected, Barbara and her husband drove Siggy to Virginia and she was adopted in less than 48 hours. Often it takes many people to find one dog a home.
