Mookie, formerly General, was brought to HHHA after being hit by a car. Mookie had lost complete use of his right arm, so the tough decision was made to amputate it. The second Mookie’s new owner saw a picture of him, she knew she wanted to make him part of her family. So much so, that she drove 18 hours round-trip to come adopt him and bring him home to Kentucky. Mookie has settled right into his new home, becoming best buds with his two new doggo brothers and loving snuggles with his new mom and dad. He is already showing off his smarts and has begun training to eventually take over his brother’s service dog work! Mookie is already loving his happily ever after!
