We’re not sure why, but so many hound dogs are waiting for loving homes—and sweet Lizzie is one of them. At just 1 year old and around 40 lbs, she’s got the perfect blend of youthful energy and gentle affection.

True to her hound roots, Lizzie has an independent spirit, but don’t let that fool you—she’s also incredibly loving and loyal. Hounds are known for forming deep bonds with their people, and Lizzie is no exception. You can already tell how adored she is by everyone who meets her.
