After being found as a stray and then going through heartworm treatment, Jake found a wonderful new family at our Valentine’s Day event! He had an immediate connection with an 8-year-old boy named Mason. When Jake first went home, he was very scared and unsure of everything and even had to be carried into the house! In the 5 months since his adoption, he has come such a long way and is a completely different dog. He loves to go for car rides, enjoys running around the back yard and has made new friends with his doggie cousins and at daycare! Jake loves all children and animals and his favorite thing to do is lay on the couch and lick your face. His new family works with him every day showing him new things and taking him to different places so he can learn not to be afraid. Jake is part of a huge family that loves him very much and they are so happy he is part of their family!
